Sector Engagement and Collaboration
SSRG supports collaboration, connection and sector engagement across the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) and broader aged care sector.
We work with providers, sector partners and stakeholders to identify emerging needs, support sector capability, and create opportunities for shared learning, innovation and collaboration.
There are a range of ways organisations and individuals can engage with SSRG activities and contribute to sector development initiatives.
How to Get Involved
Steering Committee
The SSRG Steering Committee meets bimonthly, welcomes diverse sector representation and brings together representatives from across the aged care and community sector to:
• Share information and emerging sector issues
• Provide strategic input into sector priorities
• Support collaboration and partnership opportunities
• Inform SSRG activities and sector development initiatives
Networking and Collaboration
SSRG facilitates opportunities for providers and sector stakeholders to connect, collaborate and share knowledge through:
• Networking opportunities
• Communities of practice
• Collaborative initiatives and partnerships
• Sector consultation and engagement activities
• Cross-sector information sharing
Training and Sector Development
SSRG works with the sector to identify learning needs and support workforce capability through:
• Training and workshops
• Webinars and online learning opportunities
• Resource development and sharing
• Reform and transition support
• Evidence-informed and best practice initiatives
Partnership Opportunities
SSRG welcomes opportunities to work collaboratively with providers, community organisations, peak bodies and other SSD providers to support innovative and responsive sector development activities.Expressions of interest for collaborative activities, training ideas and partnership opportunities are encouraged.
