Hot Topics

The Southern Services Reform Group and the Hills Positive Ageing Project proudly brings to you Hot Topics.
A series of interactive HOT TOPIC sessions to discuss, learn, innovate and action.

Because I Can

Because I Can is a short taster workshop focusing on wellness, resilience and self-efficacy. It is a simple intervention to re-energise, empower and increase confidence of participants.

Ignite Your Spark

There are all sorts of social activities waiting for you. Contact a southern council and find your spark. The workgroup have developed the film 'Ignite Your Spark' to motivate and inspire others to engage in life and capture the diversity of ageing.

Memory Hub

The Hub will provide activities for people with dementia to enhance or maintain their memory and will also offer information about brain health and brain training.

Reaching the Unreachable

The Reaching the Unreachable project objective was to reduce the stigma associated with loneliness and to create a resource that would encourage individuals to contact services and engage in social programs.
