Out and About Club
A new respite day program will be starting at Aldinga on the 24th March 2010, called the Out and About Club. Its aim is to support carers by providing weekly respite. The club will promote physical and cognitive wellbeing for members and plans to have a mix of outings and onsite activities.

Draft Regional Action Plan template
Please find attached a copy of the Draft Regional Action Plan templates. These are designed to capture any actions against the desired outcomes agreed upon in the SA Dementia Action Plan, provide opportunity to document on any issues associated with each outcome, note who will be impacted by each action and document timelines. This is a three year plan so some outcomes will not be actioned this year, timelines can be up to 2012. read more »

Loss and Grief throughout the Journey with Dementia
A workshop presented by the Counselling Team from Alzheimer's Australia SA exploring losses and changes associated with dementia and memory loss. Practical ways of managing stress and grief associated with the journey of dementia will also be covered.
