Red Cross Transport
What is Red Cross Transport service?
Red Cross Transport service enables people who have no access to other means of transportation to attend medical appointments.
There is also limited transport available for people to attend social and family occasions.
The Transport service operates across the Adelaide metropolitan area, as well as in the South East Country and Eyre Peninsula regions, with regional offices located in Mt Gambier and Pt Lincoln.
Who can use the Transport service?
The Transport service is for people who are frail, aged, isolated, younger people with disabilities and people who are financially or transport disadvantaged. Carers can also travel with clients.
Registration is required if you would like to receive the Red Cross Transport service for yourself or a family member.
Registrations can be made over the telephone and can be made by yourself , a carer, social worker, doctor, family member or friend.
